Lee: Charter schools will “feel the wrath of this Board”

Howard Lee, chair of the State Board of Education, pulled no punches at today’s SBE meeting.

Lee lashed out at the News & Observer for implying that the State Board of Education was targeting black charter schools for closure. (See Black charters at risk of closure and judge for yourself.) He also said that struggling charter schools will “feel the wrath of this Board and feel the wrath of this Chair.”
