Apparently, this is an audio clip of Air America’s Randi Rhodes wondering yesterday why someone in George Bush’s family doesn’t take him out and shoot him (you hear the imitated gun noise) in the back of the head. “Works for me,” Rhodes said.
I went to her online forum “Heard on the show” to see if I could find someone discussing her comments, but none of the thread titles indicated it (which isn’t to say someone didn’t bring it up, just not on a new thread). I did find this amusing, on page five of a thread entitled “Is Air America In Trouble? Randi Won’t Even Discuss It…” At least one listener has the excuse all ready if the network should fail: “economic sanction” by the “rightwing.” Here’s more:
If Radio Air America is in trouble economically, it’s because the most powerful business interests, those who received the bulk of the DUHbya’s tax break, those who are now using that tax break to fund DUHbya’s twisted re-election propaganda, those country club suits, they are twisting arms of local businesses against advertizing on Radio Air America.
The only way to win the war against terrorism is to figuratively decapitate America’s most horrific terrorist organization: The Bush Dynasty.
