Ryan L. Cole offers this perspective in today’s American Spectator on calls for bi-partisanship in the wake of the Obama victory. One of his most salient points is that the same commentators supporting cooperation now were calling for President Bush’s head only a few months ago. Ironic.

In related happenings, the North Carolina chapter of the NCAACP is advocating “punishment” of the N.C. State students who scrawled racist (and clearly despicable) comments on the university’s Free Expression Tunnel. I don’t recall liberal groups ever saying activists who made death threats against Bush should be punished.
