But
the truth of the matter is that existence in general is very very
tragic, very very sad, very brutal and very unhappy. Every now and
then, something happens that’s funny. And that’s refreshing. But then
you move back into the real world, which is not funny. You only have to
pick up the newspaper in the morning and read about the real world and
you see that it’s rotten, just bad.
No wonder that old bumper sticker, “Annoy a liberal: work hard and be happy,” upsets liberals so.
