An article in the Washington Post quotes many folks from the ?anti? testing advocacy perspective. These folks have never seen a test they like; therefore, students should not be subjected to such cruelty. The article is a great example of how liberals make education issues so confusing and complicated.
Former Secretary of Education Rod Paige once said the quickest way to close the academic performance gap in our country was to simply stop testing. We could all just feel good about how we perceive our students are performing.
