The left has a habit of claiming their free-speech rights have been abused when someone disagrees with them or criticizes them for saying something stupid. The Dixie Chicks come quickly to mind.
Now the Code Pinko women who have been camped at a Marine recruiting office in Berkeley, Calif., are using that same argument:
“I was under the impression that we have the right of free speech,” said Xanne Joi of Code Pink. “To me, I thought free speech meant you get to say what you want without recrimination.”
Sorry, Xanne, but being able to recriminate to one’s heart’s content is also what free speech is all about, at least until all recriminations against left-wingers are declared hate speech.
