Having already learned that he would be forced to ditch one campaign strategy ? complaining that the two major parties wouldn’t let him participate in a fall debate ? Libertarian gubernatorial candidate Mike Munger learns today that 4 percent of surveyed voters say they’ll cast their ballots for him.
Munger likely hopes for more support, but a 4 percent performance would be good enough to keep Libertarians on the ballot for future elections. He wouldn’t have to rely on the “vote swap” concept he described for Carolina Journal Radio back in August 2007 (during his hirsute days).
(“Under The Dome” also tells us that new poll results suggest Libertarian presidential candidate Bob Barr could tighten the race between the two major-party candidates for North Carolina’s presidential electors.)
