JLF friend and former Headliner speaker Dr. Richard Lindzen wowed Toronto Sun columnist Peter Worthington recently:
Last week ? the day the UN?s Intergovernmental Panel on Climate
Change (IPCC) issued its gloom and doom report on greenhouse gases ?
Larry King Live had a bunch of experts hashing over what it all means.
Of six panelists, the one who made the most sense (I?m tempted
to say made the only sense) was Richard Lindzen, a professor of
?atmospsheric science? at Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

UPDATE: What is it about people living in the Great White Frozen North being skeptical of the eco-panic over global warming?
UPDATE: Czech President Vaclav Klaus:
Global warming is a false myth and every serious person and scientist says so. It is not fair to refer to the U.N. panel. IPCC is not a scientific institution: it’s a political body, a sort of non-government organization of green flavor. It’s neither a forum of neutral scientists nor a balanced group of scientists. These people are politicized scientists who arrive there with a one-sided opinion and a one-sided assignment.
And on whether humans are ruining the planet (my emphasis):
Perhaps only Mr Al Gore may be saying something along these lines: a sane person can’t.
I don’t see any ruining of the planet, I have never seen it, and I
don’t think that a reasonable and serious person could say such a thing.
