In the past century, the people of Missouri have picked every candidate in the general election to win the presidency except for one. Considering that 1/3 of the Missourians consider themselves to be independent, it paints a good view of how Americans vote.

The poll results show that the majority of Missourians have chosen to vote in the Democratic Primary and have picked Obama (49.2%) over Clinton (48%).  Although McCain did win the Republican Primary here, his numbers are no where near as large as either of the two remaining Democrats.
