It is official: The Libertarian Party is on the ballot for November.

The State Board of Elections certified the 72,000 odd signatures the party collected, the rather large hoop any party not Republicrat must jump thru in order to give voters an option on election day. This also means that voters who were once registered LP can go can back and re-register as Libertarian, although the process for doing so seems a little sketchy.

The next hoop for the LP is recruiting candidates to stand for offices — the General Assembly especially — where the incumbent duopoly is running unopposed. The party has until July 1 to do so.

Ah, freedom.
