I knew a guy at Chapel Hill whose dad’s construction job took him all over the world — Third World. This guy would sometimes tag along to see some exotic places.

Once in Malaysia, or maybe the Philipines, he found a bunch of obviously bootleg Western rock n roll cassette tapes and was amusing himself plowing through them. Lots of odd “top hits” by the likes of like Supertramp, if I recall.

Then he found a “top hits” package for Pink Floyd. That is funny itself. But one of the titles on the tape was the previously unknown gem “Come For Pappy Numb.”

I would’ve never believed it if the guy had not bought the tape and lugged it back to the States to show people like me.
