I posted twice previously about the alleged vote miscount in Madison County. After the second post, I heard another story that caused me to believe I still didn’t hear the story correctly. Now, it appears that the totals are in. Phil Ginn remained the top vote-getter, but two seats had to be filled. Gary Gavenus was initially in second place, but after the uncounted votes were added, he had 135 more votes than Hal Harrison.

The Republican Party of Madison County is calling for an investigation. They think it convenient for the “power structure” to, if their guy lost, find some more votes that needed to be counted.
