Not much to add to this Podman post on the topic. But I will anyway.
Never has my opinion of broadcast news been lower. Never. No one with a functioning synapse thought for nanosecond that this kook would solve the case. No one. This freakshow was merely an excuse to trot out the borderline pornographic footage of Jon Benet one more time and wallow in the whole vile case while pretending there was news afoot.
And the print medium — only slightly less embarassing on this story.
