The AP report on Lejeune-based Marine 2nd Lt. Ilario Pantano, whose murder charges involving the deaths of two Iraqis were dropped today, noted that Pantano is a former Wall Street trader who rejoined the Marines after 9/11.
The BBC report says Pantano “rejoined the army after the 11 September attacks.”
