In a squib I cannot find online, the Uptown paper of record reports that career criminal Marion Gales was denied bond in a hearing yesterday. Gales is charged with the April murder of Lacoya Monique Martin.
According to the report, the coroner believes Martin was strangled or smothered. She was also 16 weeks pregnant at the time of her death.
