I guess the question is whether or not the new VIP lounge at the Greensboro Coliseum qualifies as “food service capital improvements to enhance guest experience at the Greensboro Coliseum Complex,” as the $1.2 million contract with food vendor Ovation states.
City Manager Rashad Young doesn’t say exactly how he found out about coliseum director Matt Brown’s latest venture. But as I pointed out earlier in the week, it’s too common here in Guilford County for local officials to find out about this type of stuff after the fact, although —- far as I can tell —– Young didn’t read about it in the local daily newspaper.
