On Sunday, the Uptown paper of record endorsed Pat McCrory for governor despite what was described as an occasional turn to “pander to the far right.”
Any guesses what that means?
Can’t think of anything. I emailed editorial page editor Taylor Batten for a some hints and we’ll see if we get anything back.
Bonus Observation: If there is a “far right” there also must be a “far left” — correct? What might be “far left” in the eyes of the Uptown paper — the Shining Path?
