I just heard former Charlotte Mayor Pat McCrory on the Morning Rush going off on his opponent in the 2008 gubernatorial race —you know who — for remaining silent about the negative effects the sleezy healthcare bill will have on North Carolina.

Bill Flynn then asked McCrory point-blank if he would take stimulus money if her were governor. McCrory replied he would only if the feds told it were going to another state. Sigh.

Meanwhile, Locker Room’s Daren Bakst calls the little game Democrats are playing with the healthcare bill “some of the greatest abuses in Congressional history.”

Think about who’s in charge here and ask yourself how far removed this is from Jim Black’s rendezvous with Michael Decker in the rest room at IHOP. Ask yourself if you see a pattern here.

Update: Listened to the replay. Mayor Pat goes on to say that Bev should at least be upset because other states got better deals.
