The N&O confirms that its share — and by extension I assume the Uptown paper’s as well — of the latest round of MNI layoffs have yet to be announced.
But the rumors are that the MNI outlet in Rock Hill will get word on cuts today.
Meanwhile, McClatchy Watch notes that immediately after MNI Ft. Worth pink-slipped 12 percent of its workforce, it started advertising for free-lancers. Remember that the next time any MNI outlet starts editorializing about “greed.”
