Piedmont Triad International Airport will ask for $4.6 million from the City of Greensboro and Guilford County to extend water and sewer lines in order to spur business and job growth around the FedEx hub.
Remember how officials talked of the many businesses that would spring up around the Dell plant when pushing for incentives. It didn’t exactly happen, and it remains to be seen if the FedEx hub will spur such growth.
