Guilford County commissioners have signed off on an additional $17 million in federal stimulus bonds that will help GCS fix leaky roofs and faulty heating and air conditioning systems.
This is stuff the school system should do anyway, and why they need federal money to do so is beyond me. Anyone who has voted for a school bond in recent years should feel suckered.
