Fired Police Chief Barry Conaway is considering legal action against the Town of Walnut Cove, while Town Manager Homer Dearmin says no information will be fortcoming:
“I hope that the people of the town will not jump to conclusions about any aspect of the personnel matter, because it is confidential and the town cannot discuss it,” Dearmin said. “I hope that the people of the town will rest assured that police protection and police services will continue at the same or greater quality as we move forward.”
