Adults up to age 26 can stay on their parents’ health insurance plan under ObamaCare. And now, a study of the impact of adding that group to the rolls at an unnamed major employer shows that 60 percent of claims from the newly covered population at that company are categorized as mental health, substance abuse, and pregnancy.
