I imagine that the following was an innocent mistake, but it is a big mistake. From the Asheville Citizens-Times May 9 editorial:
“Also
awaiting action is a bill passed by the House last year that would
increase the minimum wage from $4.15 to $6 an hour and give tax credits
to small businesses that provide health insurance for employees. The
bill is in the Senate Finance Committee. It needs to become state law.”
The minimum wage is $5.15 an hour.
