Politicians and bureaucrats pushing for taxpayer spending on new building projects, subsidies, and other high-dollar schemes tend to misuse an economic concept known as the “multiplier.” Jon Sanders explained how and why that misuse takes place during a presentation today to the John Locke Foundation’s Shaftesbury Society.
