Hadn’t heard this one before.

Michael Jordan has an online steak-selling biz, called Michael Jordan Steaks. Two 38 oz. Porterhouse of USDA Prime will set you back $170, although that includes shipping.

If you are looking a little more down-market, try the sauces and marinades, which kick in at $20 and up. Or some knives. Or an apron. Nothing says grilling quite like Michael Jordan.

Can’t find a price on that priceless bobblehead, however.

Jordan’s business empire created Jump Higher Ingredients in March 2007 and the domain name was reserved around that time as well.

Update: I just found the mere USDA Choice section — “Champion” in MJ lingo — whew! Filet mignon is going for $45 a pound, ribeye for $25!!! In other words, roughly triple what you could pay for fresh, never frozen USDA Choice cuts of the same type any day of the week in any supermarket. And any Teeter special — let alone a BOGO deal — blows Michael out of the water. Then again, folks willingly pay $200 for “MJ’s” shoes…..
