What can I say, people keep weighing in on new Guilford County Schools Superintendent Mo Green. In another N&R letter to the editor, Greensboro’s Lois Bailey says Green is going to have to do a lot of listening:

“Because his mother was a teacher” is not enough to qualify him as superintendent. On the other hand, I do appreciate the fact that he is going to “listen” to teachers, a most important quality for any leader.

So the bottom line is now our overworked, underpaid teachers will not only have to educate our students but our superintendent as well?

Meanwhile, the Meck Deck takes note of the ‘unbelievable hagiography’ on Green put out by the ‘Uptown paper of record,’ while an insightful commenter gives a little heads up:

Hey, Guilford County. Here’s the plan, straight out of the CMS Playbook:

1. Break out your checkbook.
2. Pay a fortune for PR.
3. Repeat step one.
