Representative Tim Moffitt (a.k.a. Dr. Evil) spoke in Asheville tonight at the local Republicans’ Lincoln-Reagan Dinner. With respect to city council’s recent pulling of workforce offline to sit and listen to how the city will have to cut core services – like tennis – because of pending legislation, he said:
The town hall was the most irresponsible demonstration of displaying poor leadership I have ever witnessed.
Of his intentions to transfer the city’s water system to the Metropolitan Sewerage District, he said he will:
Get ‘er done.
Moffitt also said he was a community organizer because whatever he does mobilizes opposition en masse in Asheville.
