The Hendersonville Times-News published a story that appears to define Congressman Heath Shuler’s position rather than report any new action taken on the Public Safety Employer-Employee Cooperation Act of 2009. The name alone should scare. This is one of those things that organizationally gerrymanders the people the regime supposes it can control into positions of power. For example, collective bargainers would be exempt from restrictions on free speech proposed by the DISCLOSE legislation. A note on this watchdog site under “Recent News” is particularly telling.

In the interest of spelling things out, Shuler’s stance is he wants to appear the friend of seductive buzzwords and the enemy of justice.
