That’s what Charlie Munger, the No. 2 guy in the Warren Buffett’s Berkshire Hathaway firm, says of anyone who thinks putting cap-and-trade legislation in place is a good idea.

Sen. John Barrasso (D-WY) points out to the EPA’s Lisa Jackson that even her own department 1) says cap-and-trade legislation would ruin the economy, and 2) warns that the EPA is trying to ban substances that “have no demonstrated direct health effects.”

Keep Mr. Munger’s characterization in mind when you see the ayes and nays should cap-and-trade ever come up for a vote.
