According to Under the Dome, Raleigh insider Jeanne Bonds has left her lobbyist job at ElectriCities, the state lobby shop for government-run utility companies.
It was Bonds who hired former Jim Black chief-of-staff Meredith Norris as a lobbyist back in April 2005. The connection to Black resulted in Bonds testifying before a grand jury in November 2005.
Black is due to be sentenced in federal court next month on a felony corruption charge.
