Terry Jeffreys was right on the mark in his comments on ballooning federal spending at yesterday’s luncheon. In case you weren’t persuaded, read this article by economist Ralph Reiland. Social Security and Medicare are like two nasty little kids who are about to have a growth spurt and turn into really destructive adults. Most politicians, though, are standing around like deer in the headlights.
But maybe there is a silver lining to the astronomical taxes that workers will have to pay in the future — it will deter immigration!
