So, Raleigh wants and gets a new Convention Center, then they’ll wear down the opposition to round-a-bouts on Hillsborough St. and now the dream of more business in downtown is to force regulations on Valet Parking??

You just gotta love a bureaucrat’s response to what business is doing for itself. From WRAL: Businesses have caught on (to valet parking) and are using it as an option. Because of
that, City Manager Russell Allen said Raleigh should begin regulating
the practice.

Now why on earth does regulating it make it BETTER?

What it may mean? The ordinance would crack down on when and where valet parking can be used.

One is accustomed to seeing the words “crack down” on crime rates, not valet parking. . .
