How is it that we know that Phoenix has offered millions to USAirways to put a flight operations center in town but that the Charlotte offer for the facility is still secret? How does that work?
Phoenix has put up a $36 million package of public money made up of below-market loans and tax-breaks. And, oh, look here, it seems that Pittsburgh has chimed in with a $16 million offer of loan, tax-break, and out-right grants. Charlotte? Secret.
This is yet another indication that Charlotte is the most fascist city in America — run by and for big corporations, with an ever-expanding government.
