I’m not sure what it says about politics in Guilford County when yesterday’s tightest race the humble little Greensboro Historical Museum. The N&R reports this morning that the museum bond passed by 142 votes, but a number of provisional ballots have to be counted this week.
So the people told their leaders to give them books, parks and fire trucks. Not unreasonable. The economic development bond is more of a mystery, though. Personally, I’d rather see the money go toward one of the construction or infrastructure projects because citizens can at least see what they’re getting for their money.
