Guilford County Schools Superintendent Mo Green unveils his much-anticipated strategic plan.

Green’s biggest cheerleader, the N&R, is reasonably skeptical, though they get melodramatic in places, calling the plan “a brave beginning” and “fallling short will have grave consequences for Guilford County and its children.”

Interesting that Green and the local media made so much of his “looking and listening tour” during his first five months in office, yet we’re getting exactly what we expected the entire time: a Char-Meck-style system where the system is split into regions, each with its own “regional superintendent.” You have to wonder just how much looking and listening Green did.

Details to be worked out later. That seems to be standard procedure around here.
