First there were the ?Green Mountain Boys? who, led by Ethan Allen, won some of America?s early victories in its war of independence. Then there were the ?Over Mountain Boys? who came to the rescue of American forces during the later stages of the Revolution.
And now, there are the ?Black Mountain Boys,? whose accomplishments are somewhat less momentous but impressive.
