If you think Mike Easley’s signature on the minimum wage bill is the end of the story, think again.

Rep. Alma Adams, D-Guilford, offered a preview yesterday of the next stage in the fight against the free-market system in North Carolina:

This is one step toward a living wage. When we started out on this journey ten years ago it was in fact [to] put in place a living wage. And the [N.C. Budget and Tax Center] will tell you that’s $12.32 [per hour], so we’re going to move toward a living wage and that may include more bills.
