The high point of Neil Young’s career, in my opinion, was his brief stint with Buffalo Springfield. It’s been all downhill since then for the weak-voiced folky-country-rock Canadian warbler. Now this furriner has the effrontery to record an album urging the impeachment of the U.S. president. Can an anti-American duet with that other overrated Canadian, Joni Mitchell, be far behind?

In case you might think I have some kind of bias against all Canadian singers, not so. Several are among my all-time favorites: Gordon Lightfoot, Ian & Sylvia, Leonard Cohen.
