The MSNBC correspondent, commenting on the incident in which an Iraqi TV journalist threw two shoes at President Bush today, said the shoes “sailed over his head.”
Not really. If you watch the MSNBC video you will see that a very nimble and quick George Bush dodges both shoes, which, from their trajectory, both would probably have hit him in the face had he not taken evasive action.
But, hey, better to imply the Iraqi journalist had bad aim than to give Bush any credit whatsoever.
