I don’t remember Bobby Kennedy’s assassination, but my very first awareness of politics and the Kennedys came a few years later when I heard Ted Kennedy’s eulogy for Bobby. As my views and beliefs developed, I realized I disagree with Sen. Kennedy’s approach to policy and the role of government. But I’ve always remembered the feeling I had hearing him talk about his brother. So I went back and listened to that eulogy again this morning after hearing about the senator’s death. It’s just as moving today as it was those many years ago.

Rest in peace, senator.
