Someone named Ellie Light has been writing letters to the editor to newspapers all over the country, claiming to live in the area in which the newspapers are situated. However, since she can’t live everywhere at once, there is a great amount of suspicion about who she really is. Speculation is centering on the White House.
I did a search of The Herald-Sun in Durham and The News & Observer in Raleigh and got a hit at the N&O, but not at The Herald-Sun. The N&O archives shows an excerpt from the Myrtle Beach Sun, which, like the N&O, is also a McClatchy paper.
