I read with interest (via Ed Cone) the front-pager on Tea Party activists’ opposition to enviro efforts to combat —gasp—-urban sprawl.
No matter how many people have or haven’t heard of U.N. Agenda 21, it oesn’t change the fact that it still exists. I don’t think there’s any doubt that international pressure regarding climate change—hello, Kyoto Protocol?—- is constantly being brought to bear on the U.S., especially with citizen-of-the world President Obama is in charge. I thought that was why we elected him four years ago — to bring our country more in line with the rest of the world.
All I know is the current president of the American Planning Association has it all figured out as he tries to justify a tax hike for the flight of fancy that is the Wake County transit plan.
