Conservative readers across the country had a chance in the past week to read John Locke Foundation President John Hood‘s thoughts about Medicaid expansion tied to the 2010 federal health care reform law. Hood devoted his latest National Review article to that topic. The Online Library of Law and Liberty promoted Hood’s work.
Hood also debuted his new “Free & Clear” column for Business North Carolina, focusing his first entry on the national spotlight shining on North Carolina in advance of the Democratic National Convention in Charlotte. The publication also highlighted Hood’s addition to its slate of regular columnists.
Hoover Institution scholar Bill Evers distributed to his large email distribution list Hood’s recent column on Common Core public school standards. N.C. Senate Republicans promoted that column in their daily press email, along with Hood’s analysis of legislative session limits and poverty. Hood addressed the Common Core column during his most recent conversation with Bill LuMaye on Talk Radio WPTF.
