You may have noticed this sticker on the gas pump the last time you filled up. The NC Petroleum Marketers Association is distributing this sticker to retailers. What a great way to alert the public to the price of gasoline versus the amount of the tax.
I wonder if it is illegal for a station to post the price $1.63 per gallon plus tax?
I recommend another sticker that provides the amount that the legislature has diverted from the Highway Trust fund each year.
