We can now look forward to a ruling from the N.C. Supreme Court about whether or not the Wake County Public School System must obtain parental permission before assigning a child to a year-round school. You can bet the folks at WakeCARES — the parents’ group — are cheering right now. I’d bet most Wake County school board members and system officials are up in arms.
