When you think higher education has had a conference on everything,
North Carolina Central University steps up to the plate – or should I
say mic – to offer up a conference that has nothing to do with the
mission of higher education. Yesterday, school officials hosted the
first annualHip-Hop Summit.”
The summit was created, according to organizers, because there was a
“void in the market.” Yes, let’s forget about the void in educating our
students science, history, or English and let’s focus on Hip-Hop and
how it affects culture.

I think I may contact Appalachian State
to see if they would like to host the a day-long conference on
professional wrestling. I wonder if Hulk Hogan or Steve Austin would be
available?
