From today’s DTH: “University police arrested Friday an Aramark Corp. employee working for Carolina Dining Services and charged her with embezzling almost $13,000 from her employer.”
Geez, if only she were paid a living wage!
Just wondering: Out of all the UNC schools, why is it only Carolina that doesn’t pay a “living wage” to its workers? You never hear of the housekeepers and other staff at the other UNC institutions complaining year in and year out about their pay.
