Michelle Malkin writes here about the UAW and its high-cost golf outings for union brass.

First, this should remind us that unions are essentially untaxed businesses where the management lives high on the hog at the expense of the customers (that is, the dues-paying members).

Second, the information on how the union spends its money is something that Big Labor would rather keep secret. We can expect the new Obama administration to reverse the openness that Secretary Elaine Chao required and allow the unions to go back to hiding their expenses behind extremely vague categories.
