The N&R reports that Greensboro College –which has suffered from financial woes in recent years —has sold the historic Warnersville neighborhood site of the former J.C. Price School to a company that builds student housing.
Driving through the Warnersville neighborhood I still to this day see the ‘No Sports Park’ signs in front yards, left over from neighbors’ dispute with GC over a proposed athletic facility on the site. Somehow I don’t think student housing will go over any better.
